{"id":837,"date":"2019-10-15T08:25:28","date_gmt":"2019-10-15T07:25:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/reimaginingthelevels.org.uk\/?p=837"},"modified":"2019-10-15T13:09:22","modified_gmt":"2019-10-15T12:09:22","slug":"leading-community-tree-planting-schemes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reimaginingthelevels.org.uk\/?p=837","title":{"rendered":"Leading Community Tree Planting Schemes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>The PigPen, Fair View, Over Stratton, Somerset TA13 5LB<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Training Day &#8211; 15th November 2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This training day is targeted at people who want to <strong>LEAD<\/strong>\na tree planting scheme within their community.&nbsp;\nIt aims to provide you with the skills and knowledge to undertake this\nwork with confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The training day is in two parts.&nbsp; In the morning there will be practical\ninformation and tips on such topics as:&nbsp;\nSite Selection; Species Selection, Spacing, Protection and Maintenance\nwith an emphasis on Community Involvement e.g. local schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The afternoon will be a practical session aimed at helping\nyou to Organise your Volunteers and the practical aspects of Planting Trees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cost for the day is \u00a310 per person.&nbsp; This includes a light lunch and\nrefreshments.&nbsp; Please bring suitable\noutdoor clothing and footwear for weather conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Places to be booked on this link.&nbsp; Spaces are limited so early booking advised.
